The application has been developed by incorporating the efficiency equations of respective BIS pump codes such as IS 6595, IS 8034, IS 9079 and IS 14220 to compute Minimum Efficiency required for different pump types/sizes. The overall efficiency has been computed by multiplying the motor efficiency factor corresponding to the PM rating as specified in the respective code.(Do check and verify the latest Motor efficiency factor). The appplication shall be useful for the Indian pump manufacturing industry.The DeskTop version with data storage facility is also available on request. Any suggestion is welcome.
